Many of you may have noticed i have changed all the numbers of the blocks. Yesterday I discovered I had 21 blocks, which couldn’t be possible. Therefore I have renumbered all the blocks according to the numbers and titles in Karen Mowery’s book, “A Bountiful Life”.
Those of you that are making this quilt will find it a lot easier to find the blocks.
Again – if you are making this quilt, please send me an image and I will be happy to post it. One of our members has completed the quilt. Can’t wait to see it after it has been quilted.
Made a big decision yesterday. Went with Marie up to Log Cabin and picked out border fabric. I want to finish this quilt and if I have to applique all the borders, i never will. Found perfect fabric –
Only two blocks left to go, and I have them already started. I have had the most difficult time with Hannibal. That poor elephant had such a sad life once he was brought to America and placed in a zoo. I certainly can’t put the elephant trainer in the same block as him. I tried putting him back in the jungle, but that didn’t work. He did love whiskey, so I plan to put an empty whiskey bottle next to him. I will post that image this week.~Susan
